These are the things currently occupying my time in no particular order …

  • Studying life beyond the fire service. I’m finding less drama, more freedom, and a surprising amount of peace.
  • Reading, writing, sketching, playing music, rucking or walking every day.
  • Taking road trips in our camper van to get a unique and personal view of America and its people.
  • Making simple, small adjustments to my current chapter in life.
  • Improving my guitar skills. Dilip is helping me.
  • Revising my music playlist. I like “unplugged” and “live” music, especially performed by people who are not-so-well-known.
  • Bringing my experience leading emergency responder and aviation teams to help people learn to grow as leaders. I understand the skills and level of support required for success at every stage of the game. I’m a certified John Maxwell Leadership Coach, Trainer and Speaker. Contact me at offdutyfyreman@gmail.com to schedule a chat. I’m known to coach for a cup of coffee.
  • Volunteering on the Palm Beach County Fire Rescue/Local 2928 Peer Support Team providing all members with general support and listening, and helping them find the right resources, if needed. I help members plan, prepare for, and transition into retirement. Learn more about first responder peer support here.
  • Thinking about and meditating on the Bible and putting it into practice. Working my way through the Divided Kingdom on the way to the Exile.
